Title: Associate Vice President of Business Analysis and Metrics
Company: Lincoln Financial Group
Location: Burlington, North Carolina, United States

Seresa Boyer Valdez, VMO, COPC, the Associate Vice President of Business Analysis and Metrics at the Lincoln Financial Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the fields of budget analysis and supply management.

Hailing from more than 20 years of experience in her chosen field, Ms. Valdez has distinguished herself in her role of leadership at the Lincoln Financial Group, where she bears responsibility for the development and governance of predictive models for staffing needs, as well as reviewing internal processes, implementing strategy, and monitoring budgetary expenses for various teams. Having initially joined the company in 2006 as an underwriting manager, Ms. Valdez bears a wealth of previous experience at Jefferson-Pilot Financial, and has subsequently held concurrent roles as a franchise co-owner with Liberty Tax Services. Outside of her primary professional efforts, she also dedicated herself to civic advocacy in various capacities, including as the co-owner of Gifts 2 Help Rescues, an animal rescue organization.

Ms. Valdez first studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in business and economics in 2004. Well-qualified in her field, she has been further certified as a customer services provider and in vendor management organizations. Likewise, she completed the Lincoln Officer Readiness Program in 2018, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. In accounting for her overall success, she largely credits her dedication to family and career, as well as her diligent work ethic. Additionally, she has drawn deeply from the influence of her mother, whose hard work and dedication has inspired her to achieve her goals and care for those she loves. Looking toward the future, Ms. Valdez aspires to write a book regarding her daughter, Hope, who lives with Rett Syndrome – notably, she established an advocacy movement, Hope4Hope, which seeks to spread awareness of the disease and spur others to take action on behalf of special needs individuals.
