I am obsessed with the one-person business model.
Why? It provides options to live life on your own terms. You don’t need to manage a large team. No one manages you. You don’t need to be at a desk from 9–5. The possibilities are endless.
Smart people are already exploiting this opportunity.
I’ve had the privilege of observing and learning from them.
Here’s what I learned.
#1: They have a deep understanding of the eternal markets
The economy might change, but these markets never will.
Map your one-person business to one of these markets:
- Health
- Wealth
- Relationships
- Happiness
Why?
These are challenges humans will face from the day they are born till the day they die.
Eternal human challenges = Eternal business opportunities
Once you marry a market, find a niche and then a sub-niche to call home.
- Health → Losing Weight → Carnivore Diet
- Wealth → Real Estate → House Flipping
- Relationships → Marriage → Couples counselling
- Happiness → Mindfulness → Meditation
There should be a clear map from the eternal market to the sub-niche you operate in.
If there isn’t, try again. And again.
