I’ve been growing at the pace of 6000 followers/ month since this year started.
I started this year touching 100K and I’m already at 140K in only 6 months. And no, I don’t work extra hard on the platform and post twice a day.
I’m lazy and I try to do what’s fun for me because I know people can sense my authentic energy, it’s a superpower we humans have.
Here are 6 things that are helping me grow quickly.
I don’t write about what everyone is writing, because then how will I stand out?
So no Chat GPT carousels or how to make six figures freelancing. Also, I still haven’t made 6 figures freelancing so I don’t see how giving empty tips backed with zero experience helps anyone.
Trends come and go.
And while some people have to chase them because of their expertise (for e.g. economics, stocks), not all of us have to chase them so we can go viral.
Because I don’t have a job, it’s easy for me to be real about the downsides of a 9–5. It’s something everyone wants to talk about but they cannot, publicly.
I freely talk about:
- toxic leaders
- mental health at workplace
- creative and alternate career paths
- how 8h workdays don’t make sense
- how the 9–5 isn’t the only way to success
And I add an element of self-awareness to this. I believe it’s the foundation if you want to transform your life.
It’s especially crucial in today’s time when we’re hyper-connected outside and lost inside.
I love posting travel content. I think it’s a breath of fresh air amongst all the seriousness on the platform.
