Mr. Emberland is an accomplished financial planning and accounting professional with more than 30 years of experience to his credit. He has excelled as the vice president of finance with Delphix since 2022 and a founding member of The F Suite since 2023. Prior to these roles, Mr. Emberland was the vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer for section 16 of Consensus Cloud Solutions from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, he was the vice president of finance and administration on the executive leadership team with SoundHound Inc., and from 2013 to 2018, he was a corporate controller with the same company.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Emberland attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in business economics with an emphasis on accounting in 1991. Highly credentialed, he is additionally a Certified Public Accountant through the California State Board of Accountancy. Among his career highlights, Mr. Emberland considers helping SoundHound Inc. go public over the course of nearly a decade to be the highlight of his career. In his spare time, he enjoys going to sporting events and spending time with his family.
