As a leader within his company, he operates as the chief and as an associate professor, roles in which he focuses on business management and security consulting. Prior to beginning his own business ventures, Mr. Sullenger excelled as a law enforcement officer for various city and county agencies in the state of Texas from 1971 to 2020. Likewise, he served as a chief instructor within the American Karate System from 1972 to 2017.
At the onset of his career, Mr. Sullenger honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1993, achieving the rank of major within the branch’s security police prior to retiring. Well-regarded for his creative output as well, he has authored numerous articles for journals and magazines, in addition to his 2019 book, “Memoirs and Political Observations of a Midwestern W.A.S.P.: A View from Flyover Country.” As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Sullenger also pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a master’s degree in international relations and national security studies at Troy University in 1987. To commemorate his achievements, he has been honored with numerous accolades throughout his career, including an Ernest H. Lieb Award in 2017 and a Golden Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
