Paul J. Lyons, senior project designer and design administrator at The Stover Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of mechanical design.

Mr. Lyons leverages more than three decades of experience as a proven expert in the field of mechanical design. Since 2017, he has served as the senior project designer and design administrator at The Stover Group, based in Meridian, Idaho. The environmental engineering firm is well-regarded in numerous communities for their work in treating wastewater alongside other like-minded companies and municipalities. As part of his duties in the field, Mr. Lyons primarily conducts piping work for various systems and facilities, in addition to completing a wealth of design work and assisting his fellow engineers as needed.

Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Lyons was a design engineer supervisor for Diversified Fluid Solutions in Boise, Idaho, from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, between 2014 and 2015, he worked with Makoshika Enterprises as a mechanical design contractor. In his other experiences, Mr. Lyons excelled as a contract designer, drafter and mechanic for The Dyno Shop in Nampa, Idaho, from 2008 to 2015. At the onset of his career, he operated as a level five designer for Micron Technology Inc. from 1991 to 2009.

As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Lyons pursued a formal education, beginning at the University of Maryland, where he completed coursework pertinent to his chosen industry. He later attended Thomas Nelson Community College (now Virginia Peninsula Community College), where he continued his studies before later joining Boise State University and achieving an Associate of Applied Science in drafting technology in 1988.

In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Lyons has largely attributed his success to his dedicated work ethic and passion for his profession. Accounting for his achievements, he is particularly proud to have been involved in many engineering projects since beginning his studies in 1987. Outside of his primary endeavors, he is also grateful to serve as an advocate with various animal shelters and veterans organizations. In the coming years, Mr. Lyons looks forward to retiring from full-time work.
