Why the change? There are two main reasons. The first is that we want to build a community of entrepreneurs — looking at you — and to do that, we want access to cutting-edge features, like more visually appealing layouts and better embed options. The second is that, for everything great Medium does for publications, one thing we don’t have access to is in-depth analytics. We need stats to see what’s working and how best to serve our entrepreneurial community. Once we have that, the sky is the limit. We’re only just getting started.
