Mr. DeWeese leverages several decades of experience as a proven business manager. In 2022, he co-founded Catching Fire News, a specialized online news service dedicated to educating viewers on all manner of recent political events. Additionally, since 1990, he has served as the president of the American Policy Center, having originally founded the political action group in 1984. At the onset of his career, he excelled as the owner of his own advertising and printing company from 1968 to 1977. Well-versed in broadcast journalism as well, Mr. DeWeese has conducted numerous television and radio interviews since beginning his career.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. DeWeese pursued a formal education, completing coursework in journalism at The Ohio State University in 1971. Outside of his primary professional interests, he also boasts a lengthy history of civic advocacy, notably serving as a state coordinator for several local and national grassroots political organizations between 1968 and 1977. Furthermore, he participated in numerous fundraisers for national policy organizations in Washington, D.C. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. DeWeese has been honored with numerous accolades, including an Edward Teller Award from the Doctors for Disaster Preparedness in 2022.
