With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Boyd has excelled as a manager of the Cardinals Radio Network for the St. Louis Cardinals since 2022. Prior to this position, he served as the executive producer for KMOX Radio from 2011 to 2022. He was previously active as a producer for “Inside Pitch” for the MLB Network on XM Radio from 2010 to 2011 and a producer for “The Bernie Miklasz Show” for Bonneville International from 2009 to 2010. Mr. Boyd began his career as an intern at the Boston Globe before eventually advancing to the position of executive producer for 1380 ESPN Radio from 2004 to 2009.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Boyd pursued an education at Boston University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in print journalism in 2003. As a testament to his exceptional undertakings, he was recognized as the Big Brother of the Year for Eastern Missouri for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in 2015. Attributing his success to his personable nature and ability to relate to others, he worked hard under challenging circumstances to remain in his industry, which exhibited his grit, determination and tenacity and eventually caught the attention of St. Louis radio stalwart Bernie Miklasz. Proud to have thrived from his humble beginnings, especially as the grandson of an immigrant who arrived to the U.S. without anything, Mr. Boyd hopes to help shepherd the new Spanish radio station for the St. Louis Cardinals while expanding the Cardinals Radio Network to new markets and ensuring that the children of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America have the best future possible.
