To prepare for her career in coding, Ms. Guidice earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Science and Technology in China in 2006 and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. She gained initial expertise in her field as a software engineering intern for the Intergraph Corporation in China, web designer and developer for Incline Capital LLC and teaching and research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. Progressing in her field, she served as a senior software analyst at Intergraph from 2009 to 2012, web designer and developer at Huntsville Tai Chi School in 2010, systems specialist for information technology quality assurance for Verizon Connect from 2012 to 2017 and test automation lead engineer for Macy’s from 2017 to 2019. Today, Ms. Guidice excels as a test automation architect with Delta Dental Insurance, a role she commenced in 2019.
Outside of her technical career, Ms. Guidice is a talented artist, columnist and published writer. She has been honored as a featured artist at the Annual International Festival of North Alabama in 2010 and 2011, as well as a winner of the Beijing Youth Singing Competition and the International Poetry Competition Castello Di Duino. Other accolades to her credit include the “PSI-Xin Yu Si” Literature Award, Guangdong Huadi Literature Award, Hong Kong Youth Literary Awards, Liang Shih-chiu Literary Award, North America Sino Literature Award, Overseas Chinese Literary Work Award and Taichung Literature Award. Ms. Guidice attributes her success to her desire to constantly improve herself and satisfy her clients. With this sentiment, she maintains membership with the China Writers Association and SoftLabs Community to remain abreast of her fields. In the coming years, she plans to become a noted leader in the technical field, all while continuing to educate herself on the best and newest practices.
