Sanford Mouton, MEd, PMP, CSM, Founder at Players Camp LLC and Youth Achieving through Service & Sports Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in coaching.
With 25 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Mouton has excelled as the president and chief executive officer for Players Camp LLC since 2015 as well as the executive director of Youth Achieving through Service & Sports, Inc. since 2011. In this position, he focused on youth and team development while offering expert coaching and consulting to individuals, businesses and organizations. Prior to these positions, he had found success as the head coach and physical education and health teacher in the Houston Independent School District from 1998 to 2004. Additionally active as a member of the Houston chapter of the Project Management Institute, Mr. Mouton further served as an original member of Pride Patrol from 2000 to 2005, an assistant with the American Red Cross in 2005 and a recreation coordinator with the YMCA of Greater Houston in 2005.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Mouton pursued an education at Tarleton State University, where he completed coursework in physical education teaching and coaching. He continued his academic efforts with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral studies and physical education at Hardin-Simmons University in 1998. He concluded his formal studies at Angelo State University in 2017, graduating with a Master of Education in coaching and sport administration. Attributing his success to the teachings of his parents, professional mentors and college professors, he was notably recognized as a First Team All-Conference Cornerback and had been presented with a Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award as a testament to his exceptional athletic achievement. Among the highlights of his career, Mr. Mountain is incredibly proud to have assisted displaced citizens from New Orleans impacted by Hurricane Katrina at the Houston Astrodome.
