A 55-year-old woman brutally attacked her husband after finding inappropriate photos on his phone during their holiday trip. At one point the woman kicked her husband. She was arrested by airport police after the incident.
55-year-old Paula Barbour was arrested over the holiday week at the Charleston South Carolina International Airport (CHS) after attacking her husband over inappropriate photos on his phone.
According to local news reports, Barbour was arrested on December 21st after the Charleston Airport police responded to a call of a domestic disturbance on airport property.
After intervening to end the disturbance the police interviewed both parties to ascertain the facts. Police reportedly noted in their incident report, “The suspect stated that she just wanted to get away from the victim and fly back home.”
For his part, the husband initially denied he was kicked by the perpetrator (his wife), however, police were able to review surveillance footage from the incident and determined that she had assaulted her husband including kicking him at least twice, attempting to hit him in the face and for throwing his phone.
The couple was on vacation in the southern state as part of a holiday trip.
Barbour was arrested and booked into the Cannon detention center.
