Katrina J. Jones, Administrative Analyst at Juvenile Justice Commission for the New Jersey Department of Law & Public Safety, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public administration.

With more than 35 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Jones has excelled as an administrative analyst in the Juvenile Justice Commission with the New Jersey Department of Law & Public Safety since 2007. Previously, she was active with the aforementioned commission between 1990 and 2007. She has previously worked as a radio announcer for WIMG 1300 AM from 1987 to 1990, a contract specialist with the Defense Logistic Agency, a teacher and counselor with the Department of Corrections and Human Services, an assistant manager with a residential group home and a teacher assistant. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Jones has found success as the state director of the Oziel Grand chapter for the Order of the Eastern Star since 2012 as well as a member of various ministries and choirs in her region.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Jones pursued an education at North Carolina Central University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in public administration and political science with a minor in computer programming in 1985. Additionally completing coursework at Southern University and A&M College, she subsequently concluded her studies at the Blackstone School of Law, obtaining her certifications as a paralegal and legal assistant in 1996. Attributing her success to her patience and her love for her profession, she was presented with a Shining Star Volunteer Award from the Chairperson of Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School in 2003, a Customer Service Excellence Award from New Jersey State Public Service in 2003 and the Employee of the Year Award from the Information Technology Unit in 2002. Proud of her opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, especially incarcerated youth, Ms. Jones hopes to continue contributing to society by assisting the elderly and volunteering wherever she may.
