Stephen Lyon Keiley, co-founder and chief executive officer of WindWhistle LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business ownership.
With several decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Keiley has cultivated a career of excellence as a business owner. As part of his business ventures, he recently co-founded WindWhistle LLC, a green business alliance brokerage firm, where he continues to serve as the chief executive officer. He also remains active as the owner of Foxfire LLC. Mr. Keiley previously served as the director of The Nature Conservancy and as a founder and the chief executive officer of Enterprise Development Inc.
Throughout his career, Mr. Keiley has focused his efforts on charitable causes, with a focus on environmentalism and helping others. In this regard, he traveled to Malawi and Kenya to help create camps for refugees at various points in his career. Much of this work came as part of his participation with AIESEC, an international, nonprofit, non-governmental organization that promotes leadership from young adults. To wit, Mr. Keiley later nominated the first secretary general of the organization, having assisted them in establishing their offices in Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Keiley pursued a formal education. He began his studies at Yale University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1960. Subsequently, he continued his collegiate career at the Harvard Business School and received a Master of Business Administration in international marketing in 1967. Mr. Keiley also honorably served in the United States Navy for many years, achieving the rank of lieutenant prior to retiring.
In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Keiley largely attributes his success to his values of trust, honesty, and integrity. He is a result-oriented individual, with a passion for contributing to humanity as a whole by helping those in need and offering employment opportunities. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is most notably proud of his work with the AIESEC, particularly in assisting their expansion into the United States from abroad. Looking to the future, Mr. Keiley hopes to continue addressing the issue of creating efficient and comfortable housing in developing countries.
