Delta Air Lines, which in early May announced that it would no longer grant most arriving passengers access to its Sky Club lounges, walked back that decision.
In announcing this move, the Atlanta-based airline said that it had received substantial feedback about the changes.
“Last week we announced updates to our Delta Sky Club access policy with the intention of improving your experience during the busy summer months,” Delta said in an e-mail memorandum to customers. “We heard your feedback in response to the updates, including that some customers want to visit a Club to refresh after landing or to recharge ahead of a meeting.”
Going forward, passengers “with Delta Sky Club access may continue to use Clubs upon arrival.”
The airline left another change in place however. It will continue to limit access to departing and connecting passengers to anytime within three hours of departure.
Delta originally made the announcement concerning the elimination of Sky Club access for arriving passengers when it issued a statement about its plans to “elevate” the Sky Club experience.
